Free party is not a crime, it's DIY

Born in the late 80s a free party ,better known as Rave, is a party "free" from the restrictions of the legal club scene, which typically involved a sounsystem playing electronic dance music from late at night until the time when the organizers decide to go home. Rave is freedom and music, in a certain sense Rave party is a DIY event. The word free is used in this context, to describe the entry fee but it's also used to describe the atmosphere. Having said this, most parties do not ask for money, since these are not commercial ventures, although some do ask for a donation on the door to cover costs (e.g. fuel). If we stop to read the post now everyone want to become a Raver. Big party for free with lots of music. Unfortunately rave means also drugs and police riot. This aspect keeps up with the Motivations for organizers range from political protest, that links to the underground counterculture. Lots of law had been approved to try to stop these phenomenon. The Criminal Justice and Public Order Act empowered police to stop a rave in the open air when a hundred or more people are attending, or where two or more are making preparations for a rave. The Act was ostensibly introduced because of the noise and disruption caused by all night parties to nearby residents, and to protect the countryside. It has also been claimed that it was introduced to kill a popular youth movement that was taking many drinkers out of town centers drinking on taxable alcohol and into fields to take drugs. The number of people attending and organizing such an event for it to be deemed illegal were altered in the Anti-social Behavior Act 2003 section 58 to cover indoor parties and outdoor parties of more than 20 people. It is also a crime if, within 24 hours of being told by a police officer to leave a rave, a person makes preparations to attend a rave. Despite these laws, free parties continue to exist. They do so in a number of ways. From 1996 , in response to the Criminal justice act , developed a global protest "reclaim the street" that consists in the occupation of metropolitan space and in the organization of street party, the famous street parade. Nowadays these music event has been considered very important and most of them are now legal. None can stop it. As we can read from the RAVE MANIFESTO: "The music will never stop. The heartbeat will never fade. The party will never end".

how to create your own cultural activity:squatting

The occupation of abandoned building has rapresented, in a lot of cases, the only way for a group of people that have no money, to start a cultural and social no-profit activity. Of course the ocupation itself is not so simple and it's not within range of everybody. The intimidation of eviction are frequently. Due to that in 1995 Brancaleone, one of the most famous squat in Rome, together with other squat, has proposed to the municipality a bylaw of popular initiative, proposed by at least 5000 people, to regulate allocation of public spaces unused and to heal the pre-existing occupation. The Bylaw has been approved and after that there is the possibility to ask for abandoned municipal space, while the other, already occupated, can be regulate in exchange for rent equal at 20% of his market price. Further that this bylaw(called bylaw 26) has represented the political recognition of the squat occupated and self-managed, that untill then were tollerated but often uncluttered or under threat. The commitent is that the activity must be no-profit and the profit must be reinvested for the maintenance of the asset. Brancaleone is only one example but this phenomenon, that in Italy began in 1968 with the left-wing movements "lotta continua" e "potere operaio", exists since a long time and it's spread all over the world.
